BAJA HA-HA XXVII IS SLATED
TO START SIX MONTHS FROM NOW
At this time it’s unclear if the Ha-Ha can be held safely and with the permission of the Mexican government. So the original sign-up date of May 8 has been postponed until further notice.
The good news is that the Ha-Ha and our eager event partners can ramp for the event in 30 days, so the Grand Poobah can wait until October 1 to make a final decision about holding the event.
Until there is much greater clarity, we’ll just have to ask everyone to stand by. But safety will be the deciding factor. And yes, we are cognizant of the fact Ha-Ha demographic skews toward high risk individuals.
In a personal note, the Poobah and Dona de Mallorca will, no matter what, be spending next winter aboard in the tropics.
We’ve be in near total self-isolation for seven weeks now in the tropics, and haven’t been as happy or as healthy in years. We will not do winter in the chilly and expensive States.
If possible, you may want to live aboard in the tropics, too.
